Can you work alongside our racking installers?

Yes. Our project manager coordinates the schedule so offices and racking go in without crews blocking each other.

Can the office roof hold storage?

With a load-bearing roof, yes. Tall buildings leave plenty of room above for it.

What is included in the office quote?

Panels, doors, windows, wiring, lighting, HVAC, delivery and installation, each listed as its own line item.

What should we build first in a new building?

Most sites start with shipping and receiving offices, then add a break room and gate booth as shifts grow.

In-Plant Offices for a New Portland DC

A new building usually means a long dock wall and no rooms. Shipping and receiving offices go along that wall first so clerks can watch the doors.

With 32 to 40 feet overhead, there is room for a load-bearing office roof that stores supplies or spare parts.

Portland's spot off I-65 North puts much of the Southeast within a day's drive, so dock offices here see constant trailer turns.

Modular Office Planning for Shifts and Summer Heat

Portland buildings are rarely air-conditioned. Offices get HVAC sized for summer, so screens and printers keep running.

As shifts are added, a break room near the time clock becomes the next request. A guard booth at the SR-109 entrance often follows.
